Gene Powell is a PGA Master Professional and the Director of Instruction at Four Bridges Country Club in Liberty Township, Ohio. Gene was recently selected as Golf Digest Best Teachers by State (2017-2018) and was the 2016 Teacher of the Year, Southern Ohio PGA. He has been recognized as a US Kids Top 50 Kids Teacher and was 2017 Coach of the Year, Greater Miami Conference as the Girls Golf Coach at Lakota East High School.
Teaching, coaching and education are Gene’s passion. He chaired the Southern Ohio PGA Section Education Committee and is an adjunct instructor for the PGA of America’s Professional Golf Management Program. In 2014 and 2016, Gene was awarded the Horton Smith Award by the Southern Ohio PGA for his commitment to PGA Member and Apprentice Education. Gene also served as the President of the SW Chapter of the Southern Ohio PGA, 2015-2017.
