We Funnel Ideas into Action
The Facilitation Center was established in 2003 and quickly became internationally recognized for its services, as well as its professionalism, creativity, and collaborative spirit. Three full-time facilitators and support staff, with the help of part-time, professional facilitators, annually facilitate more than 100 sessions for both university and outside clients.
The Center is funded through outside client contracts, including private businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions, as well as university-based clients and funds.
2023-2030 Strategic Plan
To be the recognized national leader in facilitation.
Work in collaboration with our partners to facilitate knowledge and innovation that transforms our world.
We create an environment where everyone feels included. All people have an opportunity to connect and share diverse perspectives, celebrate commonalities and differences, engage equitably, and will leave interactions remembering they were treated warmly and respectfully.
Our actions and decisions will foster and instill trust. We respect confidentiality, are transparent in our decision-making processes, consistently provide professional and highly-skilled services, and effectively communicate for understanding.
- Expand professional development delivery and resources to promote facilitation and meeting management to a broader audience.
- Broaden facilitation expertise and deepen cultural and social understanding to keep the Center relevant, inclusive, and on the forefront of change.
- Expand and measure impact to improve the Center’s visibility.
