Gynecologic services include:
- Pregnancy test
- Pap smears
- Testing and treatment for chlamydia and gonorrhea
- Birth control evaluation and prescription
- Consultation of other gynecologic services
Fee
All gynecologic appointment services are free to students.
Birth Control
Student Health Services does offer birth control prescriptions with the exception of any form of birth control that must be implanted, such as: Nexplanon (arm implant), ParaGard, Mirena, Kyleena, Liletta, or Skyla (IUDs).
Referrals
Sometimes there is a need to be referred to a local specialist for extended services. In case of this, it is a good idea to hold on to your health insurance card or apply for health insurance. If you do not have health insurance, visit here for our health insurance suggestion.
