It is important to know the resources available on campus about safe sex. Student Health Services provides free condoms during normal operating hours.

STI Testing is another aspect of safe sex. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offer a wide variety of information about prevention and symptoms. Visit here to find out more.

Madison County Health Department also has additional information about testing. To connect to MCHD, visit here.

Student Health Services offers free testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia. It is essential to follow the directions of the medical staff to obtain results in a prompt manner. Results are provided in approximately 7 business days after initial screening.

For other STIs, some require bloodwork or a pelvic exam within the Gynecologic Clinic. Please call Student Health Services for more information.
