Please note that the Residence Halls will be closed during the periods below and students must vacate their room during these dates and times. Remember to pack everything you will need for the break periods as you will not be allowed access to your room during the breaks as fob access will be removed.
Do you need to stay over any break periods?
For the 2025-2026 academic year, Winter break housing will cost $600 and Spring break will cost $100. Fall and Thanksgiving break will be available at no cost.
Note: costs do not apply to GC residents, but GC residents must still sign-up.
To maintain an accurate break roster for our staff, emergency personnel, and Facilities teams who will be working, ALL students who need to be in the hall over breaks MUST sign up for the break period they plan to remain on campus. This includes students living in Grand Campus.
Please note that campus resources and services are limited during University breaks and closures. Residents who have not signed up for Break housing will have their fob access turned off for the break periods.
To be eligible to live in winter housing, you must be enrolled for three (3) or more winter credit hours or have a spring class schedule.
When you leave for Thanksgiving and Winter Break, you are not required to remove all of your belongings from your Residence Hall and do not need to turn in your key and fob. However, for Winter Break you will be required to unplug everything and move belongings to the center of the room so we can spray for pests.
