  • Ms. Cozart (she/her/hers) initially began working at the EKUCC after completing her clinical internship in our Center and obtaining her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from EKU. After more than 10 years, she moved to Asbury University Counseling Center where she was a staff counselor the first five years and director the last two years. She transitioned back to EKU Counseling Center in 2015 and is currently a senior staff member. Her professional interests include disordered eating, body image concerns, student adjustment concerns, anxiety, depression, stress management, interpersonal relationship concerns, spiritual concerns, and acculturation concerns. Her theoretical orientation is an integration of interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral techniques along with mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training.
