CEDET Gets Grant to Provide Technical Assistance Training in Garrard Co.

The Center for Economic Development, Entrepreneurship and Technology (CEDET) at Eastern Kentucky University and Garrard County Economic Development Director Nathan Mick recently announced a $21,165 USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grant to provide technical assistance training specifically in Garrard County.

Large Animal Rescue Training to Return to EKU in 2011

First responders, emergency medical technicians, veterinarians, firefighters, and other emergency/rescue personnel are encouraged to register for one of the best annual training opportunities in the U.S. – the Technical Large-Animal Emergency Rescue Training provided cooperatively by USRider and Eastern Kentucky University.
