The application is free and only takes about 10 minutes to complete
Students with a high school GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale are guaranteed admission
Step Two: Pay your Colonel Commitment Fee
New First Time Freshmen will be required to pay the $200 Colonel Commitment Fee through the Admissions Portal to begin their housing applications.
Non-First Time Freshmen will be required to pay the $100 Housing Commitment Fee to complete the application.
Please allow 24 hours after the commitment fee is paid to allow the system to upload your payment. You will not be able to complete the housing application until the payment has been processed in the system.
Step Three: Complete the housing application in the Housing Portal

EKU’s Residency Requirement
Residency Requirement: All single, full-time, undergraduate students under the age of 21, having fewer than 60 credit hours earned post-high school graduation, or less than four academic semesters living on campus, are required to live in the residence halls. Exceptions are made for students living with their parents in the parents’ primary residence within 50 miles of the Richmond campus.
