What should I wear to convocation?

Convocation is a semi-formal event (i.e., men-coat and tie/similarly dressy; women-skirt/dress/nice slacks). We will not be wearing graduation gowns for convocation, and mentors are not to wear regalia for this event.

What if I can’t attend convocation?

We hope that you will be able to join us, but we understand if you are unable to attend. Information on picking up your maroon mortarboard was included in an email from the honors program with the subject line, “Important Spring/Summer 2023 Graduation Information Inside.” If you are a student who cannot attend convocation, information on picking up your thesis certificate will be emailed directly to you in late April or early May.
