Responsibilities
The ADA Appeals Committee serves the University by hearing individual ADA cases and is specifically in charge of the following tasks:
- Review appeals from both the students and employees of the university within five (5) business days of initially receiving the written request.
- Hear the additional individuals with pertinent information, identified by the chair, as needed.
- Make the final decision regarding the appeal within five (5) business days following the conclusion of the Hearing.
Membership Composition
ADA Appeals Committee Chair
- Review incoming appeal requests from students and university employees
- Schedule a hearing with the ADA Appeals Committee.
- Identify individuals, including the employee, student, supervisors, or Program Administrators who will present pertinent information as needed.
- Inform the student/employee of the decision made via the ADA Appeals Committee.
