EKU System Access Request

Employees who need access to EKU systems such as Banner, Argos, BDMS, Canvas, Degree Works, Slate, or Jaggaer must complete required training before submitting the request form.

IMPORTANT: We are unable to grant access via a ticket. Upon completion of the Access Request Form, a request will automatically be created with IT to grant the appropriate access and permissions.

Complete Required Trainings


All system access requests require the following trainings:

  • Data Trustee Training
  • FERPA Training

How to Enroll:

  • Open the Applications Access Dashboard: Applications Access Form
  • Log in with your EKU credentials.
  • You will be automatically enrolled in the required courses from this dashboard and instructions on how to complete trainings are included.

Tip: Allow time for both courses to show as completed in your training record before moving to the next step

TIP: If you have more than one position you can choose the position the Access Request is in reference to or manually choose the Supervisor on record if the default supervisor indication is not correct by checking the box “This is not my supervisor”.

Submit the Application Access Request Form


After you finish the trainings:

  • Return to the Applications Access Form.
  • Complete the form with the details of the access you need.
  • Choose the systems you are requesting from the available options:
  • Banner
  • Argos
  • Budget
  • BDMS (Banner Document Management)
  • Canvas (supplemental access for a CRN only; instructors of record do not need to request access)
  • Slate
  • Jaggaer
  • Submit the form for review and approval.

This form will be routed to your supervisor for approval. Once all signatures are completed, access will be granted by IT Project Management Team.

Confirmation & Next Steps


  • You will receive email confirmation once your request is approved and access is granted.
  • For Slate Access: You will also receive personalized training for your specific role in the system with a member of the Slate Team.
