Andy Stofleth: Empowering Future Colonels to Grow, Lead, and Serve Others

Service has defined Andy Stofleth’s journey — from serving as a Marine infantryman overseas to rebuilding communities after disasters and mentoring veterans across the country. Now, he’s continuing that legacy of service through the Andy Stofleth Endowed Scholarship at Eastern Kentucky University.

After transitioning from military life, Stofleth found both purpose and healing at EKU, where small classes, strong mentorship, and a supportive community helped him rediscover his path. Today, his scholarship is designed to create those same opportunities for others — especially student veterans navigating their own transitions.

“I’m investing in someone else’s future,” Stofleth shared. “If I can create some breathing room for someone to succeed, that’s a win for me.”

Through the Andy Stofleth Endowed Scholarship, his commitment to service continues — empowering future Colonels to grow, lead, and serve others.
