Planning your arrival
Graduating students must arrive at the scheduled line-up time in order to check in. The academic lines will form by degree level and depart for the ceremony promptly based on the marching time listed. Students and guests should allow extra travel time due to traffic, parking, and potentially inclement weather.
Candidates will be photographed as they cross the stage at the commencement ceremonies. Private photographers are not allowed on the Commencement floor. Flash photography is allowed from the stands. Proofs and information from the photographer will be sent to the students’ EKU email address after the ceremony.
Candidates will be recognized by name and will receive their diploma covers as they walk across stage at their commencement ceremony. Actual diplomas are mailed six to eight weeks after degrees are conferred. This allows time for grade processing, awarding of degrees, printing and packaging. Visit this page for additional information regarding diplomas.
Off Campus and Online Students (excluding Doctoral)
If you are an online or off campus student and will be attending the commencement ceremony but are unable to attend GradFest, an order link will be made available after the GradFest event is over. Please continue to monitor your EKU email for commencement updates.
Family members and friends who are unable to attend EKU’s Commencement or College Convocations may view the ceremony via the Internet. A link to the live stream will be available on the main EKU webpage the day of Commencement.
