I’m Alysia Adams, a senior broadcasting and electronic media student. When deciding which college was right for me, I only applied to one. Once I was accepted to EKU, I was so excited to be able to share the experience of going to a school where some of my family members went.
I like Eastern because it is a smaller campus than UK; it makes it feel easier to meet new people, and it feels more like a home away from home.
I am a writer for the Eastern branch of The Odyssey and a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. As a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, I am able to give back not only to the community around me but also to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation that is in support of diabetes awareness and education.
My time at Eastern – learning and living on campus – has been unforgettable. I’m excited to see where the future will take me and will always be proud to be an Eastern graduate.
