Sgt. Jeffrey Simmons recently joined the Eastern Kentucky University Police Department.
A Richmond native who has served his hometown as a police officer since 1994, Sgt. Simmons brings a wealth of experience to the University. He has also worked as a police officer at the Blue Grass Army Depot and has served with the U.S. Army during the Gulf War.
