Eastern Kentucky University student Rachel Bracker captured first place in her category in recent competition at the Kentucky Academy of Science annual conference.
Bracker won for her poster presentation in Analytical/Physical Chemistry.
The event, bringing together some of the leading science students from colleges and universities throughout Kentucky, was held Nov. 3-4 at Murray State University. The theme this year was "Science and Society."
