Hannah Dunagan, a spring 2025 graduate of EKU’s Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition with a concentration in dietetics, has received recognition for academic excellence at both the state and local level. Dunagan was awarded the Kentucky Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (KAND) Outstanding Dietetic Student award at the organization’s annual conference in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The award is only given to one student in the state who demonstrates academic achievement, leadership, and professional potential during the 2024-2025 academic year. Dunagan also earned the Dietetic Student of the Year award from the Bluegrass Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (BGAND). Dunagan is a recipient of the Lyn Fleming Scholarship which recognizes a dietetic student who demonstrates outstanding scholastic and professional potential.
