The College of Education and Applied Human Sciences is excited to announce the launch of the new School of Applied Human Sciences, which will bring together the Department of Applied Human Sciences and Clinical Therapeutic Programs to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, student opportunities, and community engagement. Dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals, families, schools, and communities through innovative teaching, research, and service, the new school reflects the college’s continued commitment to preparing compassionate and highly skilled professionals.
The school will be led by Dr. Kellie Ellis as Director. Dr. Ellis brings noteworthy leadership experience having served as a Department Chair for 6 years, a strong commitment to student success, and a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and clinical education. Serving as Associate Director will be Dr. Jeff Reed, who brings valuable expertise in general education, assessment, and academic program development that will support the school’s continued innovation and growth.
