Colonel’s Compass
University Calendar for Important Dates & Deadlines
The Colonel’s Compass is your resource for current and future Enrollment Deadlines, Registration and Advising dates, and your Final Exam schedule.
Enrollment Deadlines: There are several important dates connected to how you can manage your schedule. These dates depend on the “part of term” designation for each course in which you are enrolled. Common parts of term include Full Term (1, 1E), Partial Term (7F, 7FE, 7S,7SE, 6F, 6S), and Unusual Term (UNA, UNB, UNU, MAS). You can see the part of term designation for your courses by looking at your schedule in MyEKU. Reference your semester and your part of term in the calendars listed below to better understand when you may add, drop, withdraw, receive a refund, and other details for each course.
Registering for Classes: As an EKU undergraduate student, you must meet with your advisor to discuss your schedule and to receive your Registration Access Code (RAC#) to register for the upcoming term. These advising and registration dates are listed below. Contact your advisor (listed in your Degree Works audit) to build a future schedule and to be ready for your registration window to open. Registration eligibility is based upon your current classification and the number of attempted and earned credit hours.
Final Exam Schedule: Final Exam week applies to the last week of traditional full-term course offerings during the Fall and Spring semesters. Classes are scheduled to meet longer than a normal meeting period and will only meet once during this week. Summer, Winter, and many partial or unusual term courses do not have a designated final exam week. However, instructors and departments may still administer exams during the established meeting periods.
