Ms. Jaclyn Badeau is the founder of Badeau Consulting, Inc. and has worked at Tempur Sealy International, Inc. in Lexington, KY, for almost 5 years in various roles. She was the Director and controller for 3 US Sales companies. Before joining Tempur Sealy, Badeau worked in public accounting at Dean Dorton Allen Ford, PLLC, for over 6 years. She was an Audit Manager, primarily focusing on colleges and universities, healthcare, not-for-profit organizations, and audit training.
Badeau serves on a Board of Directors of the KYCPA and has previously served on both the Members in Business & Industry Committee and as Chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee. She also participated in the 2007 KYCPA Leadership Academy class. Badeau is a member of the AICPA and was one of a select group of 37 CPAs under age 36 to complete the AICPA’s prestigious 2013 Leadership Academy training program. She also participated on the AICPA Passing Score Panel in 2010.
Badeau is also active in her community; she is a Board of Director, Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair, and past Audit Committee Chair of the Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road Council. She also serves as a Finance Committee member of the Living Arts and Science Center. She was a Board Director with this organization for 6 years, where she served as Board President in 2012. She is also a Horatio Alger Association Ambassador.
She is also a CGMA and received 2 awards of excellence from the KYCPA for receiving the highest grade on the FAR and AUD sections of the CPA exam during that exam period.
Jaclyn resides in Richmond, KY, with her husband, Justin, and their lab, Midnite.
