Government Benefits

SNAP Benefits

  • Check financial eligibility through the screening tool on Kynect.
  • College students also must meet different eligibility requirements. See those requirements on the SNAP for Students page. Note that meal plans that cover the majority of your meals (listed as 10 meals a week on the Clarification on Treatment of Meal Plans page) will make college students ineligible. The $300 flex plan does not make you ineligible.
  • Scroll to “Ways to apply for SNAP” on the Kynect website. (To change language, select the Language option in the upper-right corner of the webpage.)
