One Button Studio

The One Button Studio (OBS) is a simplified, user-friendly video recording setup designed to enable high-quality video production without requiring extensive knowledge of video technology. The core idea behind an OBS is to make video recording as straightforward as possible, often involving a setup where you can start and stop recording with the simple press of a single button. The One Button Studio is available for faculty, staff, and students to record lectures, create student presentations, create green screen recordings, record video assignments, produce e-portfolio content, and more.

Please visit the One Button Studio page to arrange a tour or reserve recording time.

Faculty Support

The Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning (FCTL) supports faculty by providing customized consultations, workshops, observations, and much more.  Let us know how we can assist in supporting your teaching experience at EKU by submitting a Faculty Support Form.

Faculty Consultation:

The faculty consultation program is a one-on-one mentoring program for faculty providing consultation, classroom visits, resources and tools related to teaching, and ongoing opportunities for collaboration focused on integrating evidence-based teaching practices into your classroom.  Faculty consultations provide an opportunity to receive feedback and guidance on individual or small group basis.

Peer Observation of Teaching:

The peer-observation of teaching is a confidential, three-part process consisting of a pre-interview, a classroom observation, and a post-observation meeting. Peer observations focus on organization, rapport, presentation strategies, and classroom teaching materials. Faculty members can request a written report for documentation and continued enhancement of teaching.
