Business 5 Learning for Life Teaching Award

Learning for Life Teaching Award

Central Bank and the EKU Center for Economic Education are pleased to offer the annual Central Bank Learning for Life Teaching Award for elementary teachers in Madison County.  EKU and the Central Bank established this award to stimulate and recognize development and advancement in teaching decision-making and problem-solving with applications to personal finance, economics, and entrepreneurship. Economic knowledge and financial literacy are core skills for college and career readiness, and this award recognizes teaching in this area that engages young students in learning to make real-world connections that can have a lifelong impact.  During the spring semester, Central Bank will offer up to two $1,000 awards to Madison County elementary teachers who best meet the eligibility requirements and criteria.
