Corey D. Stith is a 2011 EKU alum and former PGA Professional Golf Management Student of the Year. During his time at EKU, Stith was a three-time President’s Scholar, two-time EKU Player of the Year, and 2008 EKU Tournament of Champions Winner. He represented EKU’s PGA/GM program at the 2007 PGA Golf Management Leadership Conference in Port St. Lucie.
Launching his career as an intern in 2008, Stith learned the ropes as an Intern Assistant Professional at Heritage Hill Golf Club in Shepherdsville, Ky. After graduation from EKU, he accepted a position as Assistant Golf Professional at Louisville Country Club. Within just a few years, Stith was offered Head Golf Professional at Tates Creek Golf Course in Lexington and later moved to Head Professional at Lakeside Golf Course.
Stith has earned a number of awards, including the Louisville Country Club Employee of the Year in 2012. He has been a Challenge Cup participant for the last four years, engaging the top ten professionals versus top ten amateurs in Kentucky, and is on the Top 10 on Section points list for 2012-16. Stith is the 2016 Kentucky PGA Section Pro-Pro Champion and 2017 Kentucky PGA Section Merchandiser of the Year for the Public Sector.
Throughout his professional career, Stith has engaged with his community as a US Kids Certified Instructor and is PCA (Positive Coaches Alliance Alliance) Certified.
Stith, originally from Eliabethtown, now lives in Lexington with his wife Sheena and daughter Emery.
